Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement

MATRIK: Journal of Management, Information Engineering and Computer Engineering is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. This journal follows the Core Practices outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) to ensure the integrity, credibility, and transparency of the scholarly publishing process.

1. Authorship and Contributors
MATRIK requires clear policies regarding authorship and contributors, ensuring transparency regarding who contributed to the work and in what capacity. The journal handles potential authorship disputes promptly and fairly.

2. Complaints and Appeals
MATRIK has a clearly described process for handling complaints against the journal, its staff, the editorial board, or the publisher. This journal takes all complaints seriously and seeks to resolve them in a fair and impartial manner.

3. Allegation of Violation
MATRIK has a clear process for dealing with allegations of misconduct, regardless of how they are communicated to the journal. This journal takes all allegations seriously and is committed to investigating and addressing them promptly and appropriately. This includes dealing with allegations raised by whistleblowers.

4. Conflict of Interest/Competing Interest
MATRIK provides a clear definition of conflicts of interest and has established a process for handling conflicts of interest for authors, reviewers, editors, journals and publishers. The Journal ensures that any conflicts of interest are disclosed and managed appropriately.

5. Data and Reproducibility
MATRIK includes policies regarding data availability and encourages the use of reporting and registration guidelines for clinical trials and other research designs according to standard practices in the respective disciplines. The journal promotes transparency and reproducibility of research.

6. Ethical Oversight
MATRIK maintains ethical oversight by implementing policies regarding publication approval, publication in vulnerable populations, ethical conduct of research using animals, ethical conduct of research with human subjects, handling of confidential data, and ethical business/marketing practices.

7. Intellectual Property
MATRIK has clear policies regarding intellectual property, copyright and publishing licenses, which are explained to authors. The journal ensures that authors are aware of pre-publication policies and what is meant by plagiarism and excessive/overlapping publication.

8. Post-Publication Discussion and Corrections
MATRIK allows post-publication discussion via letters to the editor, on-site debates, or externally moderated platforms. The journal has a mechanism to correct, revise, or retract articles after publication, if necessary.

9. Archiving Policy
MATRIK implements an archiving policy to deposit published articles in reputable digital archives, ensuring long-term accessibility and availability. Journals can collaborate with services such as PKP PN Archiving Services and Portico for archiving purposes.

10. Open Access Policy
MATRIK follows an open access policy, allowing free and unrestricted access to published articles. This journal applies the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) license to ensure author rights and non-commercial sharing and adaptation of content.

11. Review Process
MATRIK applies a double-blind peer-review process, where the identities of the authors and reviewers are kept confidential. The journal assigns a minimum of two reviewers, with the option to assign more if necessary, to ensure a thorough and unbiased evaluation of the manuscript.
