By submitting an article or manuscript, the author agrees to this policy. No separate agreement document is required.

License

The non-commercial use of the article will be governed by the Creative Commons Attribution license, as currently specified under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

Author Warranties

The author warrants that the article is original, written by the stated author(s), has not been previously published, contains no unlawful statements, does not infringe upon the rights of others, is subject to copyright held exclusively by the author(s), and is free from any third-party rights. Furthermore, the author guarantees that any written permission required to quote from other sources has been obtained.

User / Public Rights

The primary objective of Upgrade Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi is to disseminate published articles as widely as possible. Under the Creative Commons license, Upgrade Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi permits users to copy, distribute, display, and perform the work strictly for non-commercial purposes. Users are also required to attribute the author and Upgrade Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi when distributing the work in other journals or publication media. Unless stated otherwise, the authors' work becomes publicly accessible immediately upon publication.

Author Rights

Authors retain all their rights to the published work, such as (but not limited to) the following rights:

Co-Authorship

If the article was jointly prepared by more than one author, any author submitting the manuscript warrants that they have been authorized by all co-authors to agree to the copyright and license notice (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to inform the co-authors of the terms of this policy. Upgrade Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi will not be held responsible for any issues that may arise due to internal disputes among the authors. Upgrade Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi will only communicate with the corresponding author.

Royalties

As an open-access journal that disseminates articles for free under the aforementioned Creative Commons license terms, the author acknowledges that Upgrade Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi grants these publishing rights to the author without royalties or any other financial compensation.

Miscellaneous

Upgrade Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi will publish the article in the journal once the editorial process is successfully completed. The Editor of Upgrade Jurnal Pendidikan Teknologi reserves the right to modify the article regarding style, punctuation, spelling, capitalization, references, and usage as deemed appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article will be published to be publicly accessible, and such access will be free for readers as mentioned in the User/Public Rights section.
