Peer Review Process

Target : Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis mimplements the following review process policy:

  1. The article manuscript sent by the author will go through a review process by the editor, especially checking the suitability of the article manuscript with the scope of the journal and conformity with the journal template with a similarity score of <20% checking using the Turnitin application. In this process, the editor will establish communication with the author so that the manuscript is suitable for being sent to reviewers or even returned/declined.
  2. Manuscripts that have passed stage 1 above will be sent to anonymous reviewers for review using a single-blind review model.
  3. The review process will consider novelty, objectivity, methods, scientific impact, conclusions, and references.
  4. Reviewers will suggest improvements and/or recommend/decide to accept/reject the article.
  5. The reviewer's proposed decision will be evaluated by an editorial board meeting to decide by considering the reviewer's suggestions whether the manuscript meets the requirements of Target : Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis. After that, the editor will send the final decision to the author concerned.
  6. Manuscripts accepted for publication are manuscripts that comply with the scope of the publication of Target : Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis, are original, free from plagiarism, and have an impact on society and science.
  7. The editor's decision cannot be contested.

REVIEW RESULTS OUTPUT

Taking into account feedback from the review process, the editor will make the final publication decision. The decision categories include:

  • Reject - Manuscripts that are rejected will not be published and the author does not have the opportunity to resubmit another version of the revised article manuscript to Target :  Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis.
  • Resubmit for Review: The submission needs to be reworked but with significant revisions or changes so that it can be accepted.
  • Accept with Revisions: An article manuscript that has received a decision to accept-postpone-revise means that the article manuscript is delayed in being accepted and requires revision first by checking by the editor whether the revised article manuscript is suitable or not for acceptance and publication on Target : Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis.
  • Accept: The current article manuscript meets the established standards of Target : Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis so it will be published without further revision/modification.
