Cite sources using the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th edition format.
References are arranged alphabetically.
Capitalize the first letter of each word in "Books," except for the names of magazines or journals/bulletins, which are abbreviated according to Web of Science. Website address:

The year, volume, and page number must be written in full.
References from the internet must be dated when citing.
A minimum of 80% of the references used must come from journals published within the last 10 years.

Example of writing a thesis or dissertation bibliography:
Merdiyanti A. 2008. Paket Teknologi Pembuatan Mi Kering dengan Memanfaatkan Bahan Baku Tepung Jagung [Skripsi]. Bogor: Fakultas Teknologi Pertanian, Institut Pertanian Bogor.

Example of writing a bibliography from the internet:
Van der Sman RGM. 2012. Soft matter approaches to food structuring. http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0001868612000620 [04 Juni 2012].

In-text citations
Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also in the reference list (and vice versa). Avoid Reference Citations because 'in press' implies that the item has been accepted for publication. In general, in-text citations can be written in two ways: 1) the author's name and year of publication are placed in parentheses, and 2) the author's name is placed outside the parentheses, while the year is placed in parentheses.

Web references
At a minimum, the full URL and the date the reference was last accessed should be provided. Further information, if known (DOI, author name, date, reference to the publication source, etc.), should also be provided. Web references may be included in the reference list.

Example: AOAC. (2002). Guidelines for single laboratory validation of chemical methods for dietary supplements and botanicals. AOAC International, 1-38.

Reference management software
When preparing your manuscript, you should use Mendeley or Zotero Reference Manager. All publications cited in the text should be presented in the reference list in alphabetical order. Please ensure that the spelling of the author's name and date are exactly the same in the text as in the reference list.

Math & Equations
Use italics for variables, bold for vectors and matrices, script for transformations, and sans serif for tensors. Use superscripts and subscripts in superior or inferior positions; do not use raised or lowered fonts. Write equations in articles using the Built-in Equations provided by Microsoft Word. Please increase the number of equations using the Tab Stop Position.

Tables
Tables should be presented as editable text, not as images. Each table should have a title, and all columns should have headings. Column headings should be arranged so that their relationship to the data is clear and refer to the columns below. Each table should be cited in the text by defining the table number. Tables should be placed next to the relevant text in the article. Please avoid using vertical lines and shading in table cells.

Figures
Figures should be submitted as editable graphics and not as images. Cite each figure in numerical order in the text. Clearly indicate the orientation of the figure, if in doubt. Ensure each illustration has a caption. Provide the caption separately, not attached to the figure. The caption should consist of a brief title (not on the figure itself) and a description of the illustration. Keep text in the illustration itself to a minimum but explain all symbols and abbreviations used. Indicate latitude and longitude on the map. Colored figures, foldouts, pocket maps, etc., are acceptable, but the cost of color for publishing these special features must be borne by the author.
