Abstract
Augmented Reality (AR) merupakan salah satu teknologi komputer berbasis multimedia yangpotensial dan mendapat perhatian besar dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini. Sekalipun AR telah terbuktidapat meningkatkan minat siswa dalam belajar, namun pemanfaatan AR dalam pendidikan khususnyaanak usia dini masih sangat minim, dan hanya sedikit sistem yang mempertimbangkan kebutuhankhusus dari siswa. Tujuan makalah ini adalah untuk meneliti dan merancang media pembelajaranBahasa Inggris berbasis AR yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan penguasaan kosa kata dan hasilbelajar siswa sekolah dasar. Metodologi yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan media ini adalahmetode Researh and Development. Pada makalah ini dibahas tahap penelitian dan pengumpulaninformasi dan perancangan prototipe produk. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa analisis kebutuhan sistem,ulasan studi literatur, uraian komptensi dan materi pembelajaran, serta kebutuhan sistem AR.
