TATA KELOLA TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DI LINGKUNGAN PERGURUAN TINGGI: HAMBATAN, TANTANGAN, DAN PELUANG

Abstract
Teknologi Informasi merupakan salah satu aset penting bagi suatu organisasi. Dengan menggunakan teknologi informasi, akan membantu meningkatkan dan mempercepat proses pelayanan konsumen. Penerapan teknologi informasi juga mendorong penggunaan berbagai macam perangkat lunak. Penggunaan beraneka perangkat lunak ini juga mendorong kemunculan konsep tata kelola teknologi informasi. Tentunya tata kelola teknologi informasi memerlukan penerapan yang baik dan professional. Tata kelola teknologi informasi merupakan salah satu tanggung jawab dari jajaran direksi dan manajemen level atas. Tata kelola teknologi informasi adalah satu kesatuan yang tak terpisahkan dengan tata kelola organisasi dan terdiri dari kepemimpinan, struktur organisasi, dan proses. Hal ini tentunya diperlukan penerapannya di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Tata kelola teknologi informasi juga membantu arah dan strategi organisasi. Oleh karena itu, tata kelola teknologi informasi memerlukan implementasi yang cukup menyeluruh. Dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan suatu tinjauan terhadap penerapan tata kelola teknologi informasi di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Peneliti mencoba untuk menganalisa beberapa faktor yang menjadi tantangan dan hambatan dalam penerapan konsep tata kelola teknologi informasi di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Selain itu, di dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mencoba untuk menghubungkan antara visi universitas dengan visi tata kelola teknologi informasi. Dengan demikian, diharapkan muncul suatu sinergi yang berkelanjutan antara tujuan organisasi dengan tujuan tata kelola teknologi informasi.
