PENGEMBANGAN APLIKASI REMOTE ACCESS JARINGAN BERBASIS CLIENT SERVER UNTUK PENGONTROLAN PRAKTIKUM LABORATORIUM

Abstract

This research is motivated from observations of investigators area campus environment, especially in laboratory computer where the loss of computer equipment in one room labor and loss of information to find out who did it, the limited supervision that is owned by its human resources (assistant), distribution of course material using flash media disk which took in a copy of his lawyer for each student, the use of flash disk during the exam to change the exam answers. The research objective is to make the application of remote system access / Desktop to control several clients who are active in the network and complements the local computer network management functions. The method used in this research software development using the Linear Sequential method for remote access interface design. Conclusion of the study showed that the developed software can help simplify Tutor / assistant to monitor the use of computers by utilizing the network, the activity that occurs on the computer usage can be monitored by a tutor / assistant even though the number of tutor / assistant is limited so that the evaluation process practicum can be monitored without directly meet directly to the client computer.
