APLIKASI LAYANAN EMAIL TO SMS DAN SMS TO EMAIL BERBASIS SMS GATEWAY

Abstract

One of technology often used in the internet world is, email (electronic mail) that allows users to send and receive information through the internet that is not use a lot of time to send and receive with a relative low cost, and the technology is much applied to mobile device, SMS is many used because of the easily used by users and relatively low cost. A large number of users, the information should always be sent and an internet connection are not yet reach all corners of society led to the idea to create a technology based service application by utilizing the email and SMS Gateway. SMS Gateway is a connecting device between sending SMS with the database. This study discussed the process of creating a gateway SMS software that could be used to deliver SMS to E-mail. This system was built through combining SMS and E-mail technology in web-based system that can be used to deliver or receive message. The system employed PHP, Gammu software and Apache web server. The system had been examined to send and receive message among E-mail account, that could be access through web or SMS. The result showed that the system had worked properly.
