Kualitas gizi yang baik merupakan faktor kunci dalam memastikan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang optimal pada masa anak-anak. Status gizi yang memadai memberikan dasar yang kuat bagi perkembangan fisik, kognitif, dan emosional anak. Sebaliknya, kekurangan gizi atau malnutrisi dapat memiliki dampak negatif yang serius terhadap perkembangan anak.</p> <p><strong>Metodologi:</strong> Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian analitik dengan tipe korelasional dengan desain&nbsp; <em>cross sectional</em> yang merupakan penelitian berorientasi pada waktu serta observasi pada kedua variabel. Sampel sebanyak 90 orang diperoleh dengan teknik <em>simple</em> <em>random sampling</em>. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji analisa <em>chi-aquare</em>.</p> <p><strong>Hasil Penelitian: </strong>Responden yang memiliki status gizi kurang sebanyak 13 anak (14,4%), status gizi normal sebanyak 74 anak (82,2%), status gizi lebih sebanyak 3 anak (3,3%) dan yang memiliki perkembangan penyimpangan sebanyak 5 anak (5,6%), perkembangan meragukan sebanyak 17 anak (18,9), perkembangan sesuai sebanyak 68 anak (75,6%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan p value &lt; 0,05 sebesar 0,000 sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa ada hubungan yang bermakna antara status gizi (BB/U) dengan perkembangan anak usia 1-5 tahun di Kelurahan Cakranegara.</p> <p><strong>Kesimpulan: </strong>Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa status gizi memiliki hubungan dengan perkembangan anak.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Kata Kunci</strong> : Balita; Status Gizi; Perkembangan Anak</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Abstract</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NUTRITIONAL STATUS AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT AGES 1-5 YEARS IN SOUTH CAKRANEGARA SUB-DISTRICT.</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><em>Aloysius Adhi Pratama</em></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong><em>Background</em></strong><em>: Growth and development in children represent a critical period that determines their future quality of life. Adequate nutritional quality is a key factor in ensuring optimal growth and development during childhood. Proper nutritional status provides a strong foundation for the physical, cognitive, and emotional development of children. Conversely, nutritional deficiencies or malnutrition can have serious negative impacts on child development.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Methods: </em></strong><em>This research design employs an analytical research design with a correlational type and a cross-sectional design, which focuses on time-oriented and observational study of two variables. The sample consists of 90 individuals obtained using a simple random sampling technique. The study utilizes the chi-square analysis test.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Results</em></strong><em>: Respondents who had malnutrition status were 13 children (14.4%), those with normal nutritional status were 74 children (82.2%), those with overnutrition were 3 children (3.3%), those with developmental deviations were 5 children (5.6%), those with questionable development were 17 children (18.9%), and those with appropriate development were 68 children (75.6%). Although there are many known benefits of exclusive breastfeeding, there are still many&nbsp; mothers who do not &nbsp;breastfeed&nbsp; exclusively, many factors that influence breastfeeding are not Exclusively, one of which is&nbsp; support from the&nbsp; family, which is to provide information, advice and attention that makes mothers&nbsp; feel comfortable and calm in the process of breastfeeding.&nbsp;&nbsp; </em></p> <p><strong><em>Objective :</em></strong><em> The purpose of&nbsp; this study was to determine the&nbsp; relationship between&nbsp; family support and exclusive breastfeeding&nbsp; for infants aged 0-6 months in&nbsp; the working area of the&nbsp; Karang Taliwang Mataram Health Center.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Method :</em></strong><em> The method in this study is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. One of the nutritional problems that often occurs in toddlers is <em>stunting</em>. <em>Stunting</em> is a chronic malnutriyion in toddlers that causes children to be too short of children of the same age.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Objective:</strong> The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the level of maternal knowledge about protein intake with the incidence of stunting in toddlers in the Lingsar Health Center work area.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Method:</strong> The method used in this study is a type descriptive analytic observational research with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study was all stunted toddlers aged 24-59 months in Batu Mekar village, totaling 153 children. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling technique with a sample of 65 respondents based on the calculation results using the Lemeshow formula. Diwilayah Lombok barat balita pendek (TB/U) pada tahun 2020 sebesar 20,1% dan mengalami kenaikan angka <em>stunting</em> pada tahun 2021&nbsp; menjadi 22,71%. <em>Stunting </em>adalah masalah kurang gizi kronis yang disebabkan oleh asupan gizi yang kurang dalam waktu cukup lama akibat pemberian makanan yang tidak sesuai dengan kebutuhan gizi. Angka <em>stunting</em> masih sangat tinggi dan merupakan masalah kesehatan yang harus ditanggulangi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertuuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Pola Asuh Orang Tua Dengan Keadian <em>Stunted</em> (Pendek) Pada Balita Usia 12-59 Bulan Diwilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sigerongan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analitik observasional dengan rancangan penelitian <em>cross sectional</em>. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu semua orang tua dan balita yang ada wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sigerongan yang berjumlah 593. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik kuota sampling&nbsp; dengan jumlah sampel 73 orang tua dan balita. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi <em>spearmen.</em> Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan Pola Asuh Orang Tua <em>(p</em>= <em>0,689</em><em>)</em> Dengan Kejadian <em>Stunted</em> (Pendek) Pada Balita Usia 12-59 Bulan&nbsp; Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Sigerongan <em>(p&gt;α). </em>Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu pola asuh orang tua di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Sigerongan pola asuh tidak baik sebanyak 58,9%, pola asuh baik sebanyak 41,1%. In Indonesian, the prevalence of obesity at ages 5 – 12 years are 10,8% and obesity are 8,8%. The prevalence of obesity at the age of 13 – 15 years are 8,3% and obesity are 2,5%. Overweight and obesity can be caused by indirect factors and direct factors. Indirect factors are gender, genetics, age, social environment. Direct factors are food intake and physical activity. The food intake that contributes the greatest energy comes from carbohydrates and fat. This research was conducted to determine fat intake and physical activity in junior high school students who were overweight and obese in Tasikmalaya City. This research is descriptive research conducted from February to April 2023. Data were collected using anthropometric measurements to determine the nutritional status of respondents, interviews using the SQ-FFQ and IPAQ formulas to determine fat intake and physical activity. Data collection used a total sampling technique of 20 respondents. The results of the study showed that some teenagers with a nutritional status of overweight and obesity at junior hight school/ equivalent level experienced problems with food intake and a small percentage experienced problems with physical activity. Peningkatan angka obesitas perlu mendapatkan perhatian karena obesitas merupakan salah satu penyebab berbagai penyakit tidak menular (PTM). Salahsatu faktor yang dapat menyebabkan obesitas adalah ketidakseimbangan antara energi yang masuk dan yang dimetabolisme oleh tubuh sehingga terjadi penumpukan lemak. Permasalahan ini saat ini bukan hanya terjadi di negara – negara maju, akan tetapi juga sudah mulai terjadi di negara – negara berkembang. Hal ini sejalan dengan data Riset Kesehatan Dasar (RISKESDAS) yang menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan kelompok pekerjaan, yang banyak menderita obesitas adalah kelompok yang berpenghasilan menegah ke bawah. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur sesuai topik dengan menggunakan PubMed, Web of Knowledge dan Google Scholar. Berdasarkan studi literatur ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara kerawanan pangan dengan kejadian obesitas pada wanita dewasa, terdapat beberapa kemungkinan yang menyebabkan paradoks ini, diantaranya karena factor kebudayaan (patriarki) sehingga Ibu lebih mengutamakan makanan bergizi untuk anak dan suaminya. Selain itu, makanan padat energi juga mudah didapatkan dengan harga yang lebih murah.
